Completion!

That’s right folks, the long awaited painting has been finished after who knows how many hours of work. I made a lot of progress on this, but then I lost interest for a while and just finished it recently. I am loving the black and white lineless style and I plan on sticking with it for at least my people paintings since this one turned out good. For whatever reason, I also really enjoyed painting musicians from one of my favorite bands, so I have a list of artists I am going to try to do next.

I used a reference (of course), though I slightly edited the dimensions and thus cut out some things, and also eliminated their logo that was spanning the bottom of the picture.

Greetings. All I have to say is to check out my new Music Analysis page. What a wrote is basically an intro; an insight into the background behind the page. What will be occurring in the future is the actual analysis of songs. Mostly it will be about the message or story, but from my point of view and my interpretation. However, some might be backed up with actual artist statements and other random internet peoples’ opinions.

Art will be posted soon, for I am currently working on a major painting, though I am almost done.

Music seems to be overtaking this place…… From here on out it is an art AND music blog.

Schoooooooool’s Out, for, the Summer!

Today was the last Friday of my school year… thank goodness. But then it was kind of depressing because we had our last rally, and it was the last one for the seniors….. Aside from that, I have posted my week’s work. It was my first photo manipulation project, and I am very pleased with it. The only thing I don’t care for is that when you photoshop something, it’s usually pretty obvious. I also wrote a parody for this piece to the song, Waiting for the End by Linkin Park.

Almost Over

Yes, it’s true: the school year is almost over. I would like to dedicate this eagle painting to an early celebration of this fact. Once again, I have little to say. It’s not like you can really glorify or even decimate a simple piece like this with words. Or could you……….?

The Title of this Post is Unoriginal

As you can see, I have run out of relevant and reasonably interesting blog post titles, and frankly, I have to inspiration to think of one right now. Either way, I have continued to make progress on my lineless eagle and was able to lay out the base of the figure itself. From here, I will add detail and shading.

I am returning to my comfort zone this week and doing a lineless painting of an eagle. I have planned on painting this particular piece for I love the reference, so I hope to do it justice! This doesn’t look like much at the moment, but I am just getting the layers set up for some real work.I don’t really have much to say other than that, so wish me luck.
